Manipal Academy of Higher Education (Manipal University) MAHE was established in 1953 by establishing the first self-financing medical college. Thereafter, in 1963, this group of institutions was declared to be a university by the Government of India. In a few years, the university has set a remarkable mark in the higher education field in India, from high placement rates to distinguished alumni. With Over 35,000 students from 60+ nations live, learn, and play in the sprawling University town, nestled on a plateau in Karnataka’s Udupi district.
