About BIMTECH
Birla Institute of Management Technology was established in 1988 under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture, and supported by Birla group of companies. Late Basant Kumar Birla and Sarala Birla, chairperson of B K Birla Group of companies are the founders of the business school. BIMTECH is mini India in its formation every year. It has students coming almost from all the states of India, and also from few foreign countries. Its mix of nationalities, cultural backgrounds, academic and professional experiences make BIMTECH one of the most exciting and enriching business schools in the country.
The institute is accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) which is Considered to Be the Gold Standard in Management Education. BIMTECH is only the third institute in Greater Noida that has been bestowed with ‘academic autonomy’ by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is affiliated with Birla Global University. It has received 2(F) & 12(B) status from the UGC

BIMTECH- Eligibility for the course

| FPM | Candidates should possess a master’s degree or its equivalent in Engineering and Technology/ Management/ Economics/ Social Science/ Commerce/ Humanities with FIRST CLASS (at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average) recognized by AICTE /AIU with a Bachelor’s degree after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2). In addition to the academic qualification, candidates applying for EFPM need to have a minimum of 5 years of managerial/executive/teaching experience. Minimum age limit for EFPM is 28 years and maximum age limit is 50 years. Thereafter the shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. |
Student life
The college features top-class infrastructure, including spacious classrooms, a well-equipped library, and regularly updated labs that reflect the latest advancements. The Wi-Fi-enabled campus provides 24/7 internet access.
BIMTECH has adequate on & off campus hostel facilities for the students. Both hostels provide at-par ultra modern living environs. Rooms in hostels can be used on single or twin sharing basis. The hostels are designed to provide a proper mix of privacy & a unique social experience. They also have a fully equipped medical center with a full-time senior resident doctor who is assisted by reputed visiting doctors and other attending staff. An Ambulance is available on campus 24 X 7 to meet any medical emergency

What is a Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) and Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM)
FPM is a full time residential doctoral level programme and EFPM is a nonresidential doctoral level programme for working professionals and faculty in business schools. These programmes are designed to equip students for career in research, academics and industry. Both the programs are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India).
What is the selection process?
The selection will be based on candidate’s CAT/GMAT/UGC-NET/ BIMTECH Entrance Exam score, performance in personal interview, work experience and past academic performance.
What specializations are offered to candidates and when can the students opt for specialization?
Students can opt for specialization at the beginning of the 3rd trimester in PGDM & PGDM-IB programs wherein specializations offered are HR, Operations, Marketing and Finance in PGDM program and Operations, Marketing and Finance in PGDM-IB program.
What financial aid is available?
BIMTECH offers one of the best financial packages for FPM students. Currently the students are provided: 1st Year - Rs. 25,000/-; 2nd Year – Rs. 26000/-; 3rd Year onwards – Rs. 27,000/- per month for 3 years and 6 months as stipend and are exempt from tuition fees. For details refer the brochure.

BIMTECH Placements 2024 ended with the placement of 464 students. BIMTECH Placement Drive 2024 had 115+ recruiters, with 30% of them being new. BIMTECH’s highest package was INR 24.43 LPA, while its average package was INR 11.10 LPA. BIMTECH’s top recruiters for 2024 include ADP, Wipro, E&Y, Deloitte, KPMG, Kantar, RBL, Euromonitor, Yamaha Motors, Panasonic, and TATA AIG, among others.
