Undergraduate Programs (B.E/B.Tech)
General Criteria:
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- Age: The minimum age should be 17 years at the time of admission or by December 31 of the year of admission.
Educational Qualification:
For Karnataka Candidates:
- Must have passed the 2nd PUC/12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages.
- Should have obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Electronics, or Computer Science (40% for reserved category candidates).
For Non-Karnataka Candidates:
- Must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Entrance Exam:
- Must have qualified in one of the following entrance exams:
- Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
- Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) UGET.
- Any other state or national level engineering entrance examination recognized by the university.

Postgraduate Programs (M.Tech)
General Criteria:
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
Educational Qualification:
- Must hold a B.E/B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category candidates).
