About Sathyabama University
Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University) is a prestigious institution located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The university has excelled in the fields of engineering, science, and technology for more than three decades. It was Founded in 1987 as Sathyabama Engineering College by the late Dr. Jeppiaar and received its university status in 2001. The university has been Accredited with an ‘A++’ Grade by the NAAC and has also been Graded as a Category I University by UGC. Additionally the university has also been ranked at the 51st Position as per the NIRF Rankings 2023. On June 22, 2016, Sathyabama University made history in space research by launching “SATHYABAMASAT” with the help of ISRO.
